I fully agree with everyone. I c ome to the site almost every day and I find my family here providing me comfort that I could not have imagined. I feel very alone some days, with my husband being sick and unfortunately, he’s not his sweet and loving self anymore, but I come here and find caring, considerate, concerned people. Thank you all. Blessings, Susan

Codergirl, I too am thankful for the site and for the wonderful people who post. I am my Mom’s caretaker, and I felt like it was two against the world of cancer. We were battling hard and getting frustrated by the lack of knowledge and treatment options, until I found these sharing-caring people. I don’t think anyone has ever had a negative post and always positive attitudes…it really does feel like an extension of my family. Thanks everyone.

I totally agree with Patty. This board and everyone on it has given me strength and comfort that I get no where else. No matter how hard others try, they can’t really understand how this disease and everything about it has affected us forever. I will always be thankful for finding my way here and for all the great people here. It is the only positive thing about everything that has happened that I am truely greatful for.

    Love & Hugs To All,
    Darla

This board is my refuge and some of the darned nicest people in the world find their way here. I think the closeness and the need to help that we feel can be explained by the fact that we are all in the same boat and when you have walked a mile in someone’s shoes you really understand what they have been through. I think it is hard for others to really understand the helplessness and frustration we feel with this disease.
