    Hi Beth,
    My Dad had almost mirrored symptoms to Dave and it turned out that he had an infection. They have given him some kickin’ antibiotics and have inserted a drain to get rid of the bile, and he isn’t great but he is slowly getting some relief.
    Hopefully you will receive some similar news. We always expect what we fear the most, sometimes we are right but sometimes we’re not.
    Keep your chin up, we’re all praying for good news for you both.

    Beth: Tons of positive thoughts and prayers coming Dave’s way from Wisconsin! Stay positive and if you hit a bump in the road, just keep on going cause it will smooth out in some way shape or form!

    Hi Beth,

    Sorry to hear what Dave and you are now facing. As others have said, try to stay positive. I will be hoping things work out for the best tomorrow and you will know what is going on and get a plan of action in place. Think of you two and sending lots of positive thoughts your way.

    Beth,
    Good thoughts and many prayers are heading your way for you and Dave. I too hate the waiting. I will pray that it is not a reoccurance but something that can be easily taken care of.

    I know that the waiting is so tough, but please try and stay as positive as you can. I know that this is hard to do sometimes, but please try. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you and Dave tomorrow and am sending you a ton of positive thoughts.

    Beth……there are many reasons for blockages to occur and there are many ways to treat it. I am staying hopeful for this to be solved within a short time. Please, stay positive.

    Waiting is so hard! I wish I could reach through the computer and give you a hug!

    I know it’s hard but try to take a deep breath and stay positive. I am sending hugs and tons of prayers your way. I will keep you and Dave in my prayers.

    Hello everyone….

    I am sitting here at work…just not really even here. My mind is on so many things, and wondering what tomorrow is going to bring. Dave and I are to be in St. Louis for blood work, and his CT scan. We meet with his Doc to try to find out if there is a reoccurence. We will know tomorrow. Here is what Dave is experiencing now: Bouts of severe nausea…burping constantly..with a bile after taste…feeling bloated and full. He might eat 3 bites and can’t eat anymore. He is loosing so much weight…and his hernia keeps getting larger. He has a low grade temp…only 99. I don’t think he looks jaundice…but his color is not good. He is not sleeping…can’t get comfortable.

    I am lost….so scared….and trying to stay positive.

    I am asking for prayers and good thoughts sent our way.

    I will keep you updated.
