    Hi Stan,

Good to hear that you are not experiencing any problems with your treatment so far. I would agree that the “waiting” part of treatment is probably the worst. I remember after I had my last radiation treatment for breast cancer that I just went to my car and cried. I had been in fight mode for months and now it was wait until the next scan. Luckily mine was fine, but the waiting was very hard.

Good luck with your treatment and I look forward to hearing good news from you soon.

    Hi Stan,

Great to hear from you and glad to hear that your Xeloda and radiation has started and has given you no problems so far, long may that continue! I hope that your meeting with your onc goes well and that you get some good news here. Hopefully you will hear about a study and if you do, please let us know what they say. Sounds like you have a great support network around you and that is excellent to hear!

    My best wishes to you,

    Gavin

Hi there, Stan, so good to hear from you and that you are now feeling so much better. You, Sir, are one of those people with Strength and Courage and I might add a lot of heart. Good luck on your new Chemo and I hope and pray your ONC finds you a clinical trial. Thanks for the update and as usual please keep us in your loop.

Stan…great to hear from you. I know that you have not been sailing through the adjuvant therapy however; it appears that things have leveled out. Great news, dear Stan. I wish for continued success and for the last four rounds to go as smoothly as possible. Please keep us posted on the proposed clinical trial. Have a nice weekend.
    Hugs,
    Marion

I am 6 months out from my resection and so far so good. I have completed four cycles of gen/cis (8 rounds of chemo) which resulted in three stays in the hospital for various complications. I just started radiation along with Xeloda this week and so far no problems. I see my onc in a week or so and should hear more about a clinical study for which I might be a candidate.
I am blessed to have a doctor for a wife along with great friends and a supportive church.
Personally, I am happy to be doing something about the cancer. When the time comes that I have to just sit around and wait between scans it will be difficult.
I read this board daily and am amazed at the strength and courage of the people fighting this disease.
