That all sounds lovely. Thanks for all your efforts to raise awareness of this rare cancer in memory of your dear Jacques. I know he will be with you in spirit as will all of us on this board. Looking forward to the pictures and hearing all about the event. I know it will again be a great success and exceed your expectations.

Yes, there will be pictures this year – I promise. I wish all of you from the Discussion Board could be there – I know you will be in spirit. Yes, there is a very handsome man smiling down on me – that I know for sure – it is the Love of my Life – my Jacques.

Perhaps this year after the event you can post some pictures for us who can only dream of attending. October 21, 2015 at 8:18 pm #11796barbara6193SpectatorHere is an update on the 4th Annual Cholangiocarcinoma Memorial Benefit, which will take place on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at The Atkinson Resort and Country Club, Atkinson, NH in the Legacy Ballroom from 7:00 – 11:00 pm. This years theme is “SHOPPING FOR A CURE”.
This event is shaping up to be spectacular – it is exceeding my expectations for sure (and for those of you who know me – my expectations are always high). I am overwhelmed at the generosity and support of my community, family, and friends. One of my favorite quotes, is so very true: “Alone we do so little; together we can do so much” by Hellen Keller.
I’ve posted this before – but it bears repeating – As Jacques wife, I will never stop using my voice and energy to raise awareness for this rare cancer, all in loving memory of the love of my life. Everyone’s life has been affected by cancer in one way or another, I hope one day to look up the word ’cancer’ in the dictionary and for the definition to read; “Cancer-ONCE a deadly disease.”
