I looked into a few of the above and selected a few different ones to benefit my mom. I don’t want to push a specific dietary supplement protocol as each individual is different. Go according to anything deficient in their body. I can suggest one which is building her immunity which was not well several months ago, and this is without chemo! She would have mushroom extract twice a day. Again, this is in addition to several changes we made.
Thanks everyone for trying hard to find alternative healing methods also, not only relying on chemo. Again, that is a personal choice and no one should be forced to get it or not.March 22, 2017 at 10:29 am #92960alikemalSpectatorIs there who uses these products and has possitive effects.

Can these products be shipped to Turkey ?February 18, 2017 at 7:32 am #92957laynelukeSpectatorI have gained weight initially loss when I started chemo treatments by doing two things.
First, as recommended by my oncologist is to take my anti-nausea medication at the first signs of not feeling good (stomach ache, dizziness, headache, etc.). This allowed me to feel better and eat more normally.
Second, as recommended by my my osteopath, I drink twice a day, green juice (either using a juicer with fresh green vegetables or Suja brand organic mighty dozen green juice) mixed with organic hemp protein, powdered poi, bee pollen and spirulina.February 17, 2017 at 12:06 am #92956positivitySpectatorI give my mom supplements not for the weight gain, but to make sure she is getting all her nourishment not just from food but extra vitamins and minerals. I would not turn to supplements for weight gain, and would rely on food only. I understand it is harder for her to gain weight, but as long as she is maintaining it at this point.

Does a dietary or nutritional supplement help CCA patient to gain weight ?
August 12, 2016 at 5:08 pm #12683marionsModeratorHave you ever wondered what’s in your dietary or herbal supplement? Analyses of dietary supplements sometimes find differences between labeled and actual ingredients. For example:
An herbal supplement may not contain the correct plant species.
The amounts of the ingredients may be lower or higher than the label states. That means you may be taking less—or more—of the dietary supplement than you realize.
The supplement may be contaminated with other herbs, pesticides, or metals, or even adulterated with unlabeled, illegal ingredients such as prescription drugs.
