Thanks, Gavin. We are in the process of creating links on the home page for this and other type of palliative and end of life care information. In fact, we have created a nursing advisory board chaired by Sue (Bili Project) with cooperation of our KrisV, Heidi and Karen. We will keep everyone posted on the developments.
    Hugs,
    Marion

If hospice is not involved you may be tempted to call 911 or Emergency Medical Services (EMS), even after an expected death at home, the law often requires that EMS try to revive the patient or take them to a hospital. This can complicate the situation and delay funeral plans. Be sure that family and friends are ready and know exactly whom to call, so that they don’t dial 911 in confusion or panic.
