    Dear Sally,

Your sister has been fighting for many years and you have been by her side. I wish both of you much love and comfort, and a miracle too.

    Take care,
    Catherine

Dearest Sally, ONLY if your Sister is ready to concede, and I think anyone would know she gave the fight her all, only then would I let it be. BUT IF she feels she has any fight left I would get another opinion post haste. The ONC doesn’t know what kind of chemo to use? Wonder if he tried to find out. Did he recommend Hospice? Is he going to control pain? Sally, don’t forget I have that list of signs of what to expect at the end of the journey and if you like just slip me an email and I will send them to you. My [prayers go out to you Sister and Family what ever the decision may be.

today my sister saw the dr. he told her he doesnt think there is anything more they can do. they drained fluid from her lungs that is being caused by the cancer. they will not operate on the tumor in her colon and said they dont really know what type of chemo to offer. they basically told her to enjoy whatever time she had left. we are shocked and confused right now. we will have to at least look for a second opinion but i am losing hope. just praying now for a miracle.
