    Kay…I suspect for another scan will be ordered and his CA 19-9 will be evaluated assuming, that these markers were used as base line. Please, share with us any additional information.

    They tested me 3-4 months after chemo.

    My Dad was a couple months into his chemo before they did any testing.

    I was tested with my last chemo about 10 weeks after I started.

    Hi all,

    Dad has had 4 treatments of chemo. for a small tumor in a lymph node. We are all kind of wondering when we will find out of the chemo is working and how they test for that????
