Weathered the storm just fine. So much so that I had to dress as Sandy from Grease!! HAHA
And Pam: It would have been worse if I hadn’t complaned. I would have gone yesterday or today and waited until Monday. I told them that was cruel and unusual punishment and I would never wait that long for results again!

Kris…..Hoping that the swelling will subside and for the CT results to confirm absolute, positive, lymph node response to the radiation.
Hugs and glad to know that you have weathered the storm.

    Kris,

I’m wishing for nothing but great news from your CT scan. Glad your other problem is finally gone. I will be praying extra hard for you on Friday. Sorry you have to wait the whole weekend for results. That is just cruel. All the best to you, dear friend.

Hi Kris, sorry to hear about the “runs” and I don’t mean the one on 2 feet! Glad that is over. Wish you didn’t have the pain now but I remember Teddy’s Radman telling us that the radiation keeps on cooking for about 3 months, so consider yourself well done. We will be awaiting the scan results as well. I also hope you “weathered” the storm well. BTW, we love a hello even if you don’t have anything to report.

    Kris,

Fingers crossed! Hope you are feeling ok. We are headed to fox chase today to see if mom can get more chemo. Hope you weathered the storm ok.

It’s been a while since I posted anything, as nothing much has been happening. I go Friday for another CT scan to see how the cancer is responding to radiation. If you remember, I had radiation in July.
I hope and pray that it’s working. Of course, last week I had diahrea that I couldn’t get rid of, and after 1 call to the dr. office, I just decided to weather it out. It finally went away, but now I notice the right side of my abdomen is larger than the left, which makes me nervous. My lymph nodes are affected already, but were reacting well to radiation. So I’m hoping I have swelling for a totally unrelated thing??
Of course, scanxiety makes it all worse. I find out Monday about the results. It’s only a weekend, right????
Notice I didn’t even mention the tumor?? Not high on my radar at present… it’s the lymph nodes I’m most worried about.
