Victor,
I too have had many experiences since my husband passed. Many involving lights and electrical things along with a few others. Since he was an electronic technician it makes sense to me that would be the way he would try to connect. I do think you have to be open and sensitive to the things that are going on around us or a lot is easily missed or explained away. In my case yes, I believe. Right or wrong, like Lainy, it gives me comfort. Children, in their innocence and with out preconceived notions are much more open and sensitive to these things.
Take Care,

I have been following this and see you have gotten a lot of good advice. Glad you now have a plan of attack. Wishing you lots of luck with the surgery and look forward to hearing positive updates. Love the story of your wife’s experience. I do believe there is something to it all.

DarladarlaSpectatorHi Steph,
I too am glad you finally decided to introduce yourself. So glad you found us but sorry you had a need to. It does seem there have been more younger people being diagnosed with CC. of late.
Good to hear you are being treated and that the treatments are working. Hoping you can get some relief for the pain you are experiencing.
Welcome to the best place to be when facing this disease. We are a very supportive group and are here to help and support you too in any way that we can. Look forward to hearing more from you and hopefully all good.

DarladarlaSpectatorMust agree with Lainy & Marion. Great kids, great story and great family!
darlaSpectatorDear Scott,
This is one of the most heart warming posts I have seen. First the kindness and generosity of your boss & co-workers and then your awesome kids wanting to pay it forward. You obviously have brought them up right. It sounds like you have a whole lot of wonderful caring people in your life who truly love and care about you. My wish for you and your family is to have a wonderful holiday season.
Love & Hugs,
DarladarlaSpectatorDear Surfer1,
I am so sorry for your loss. You have my deepest sympathy. Unfortunately, I too know how devastating of a loss it is. I know that right now you can’t even imagine things ever getting any better, but know that in time the pain will easy and the memories of your life together will comfort you.
Take care and know that we all share your grief and sadness. We are here for you.
Hugs,
DarladarlaSpectatorJulie,

DarladarlaSpectatorWishing you the best tomorrow.
darlaSpectatorKevin,
Montage came through fine. Thanks for sharing your mom’s life with us through those wonderful pictures. Really enjoyed seeing them. She was a pretty lady with a beautiful smile. Loved the one with the VW. Yes, she was not old, but a very young 72, As I too am getting to that age, I’m 67, it no longer seems old to me.
As for your comments about the pain meds, I totally agree. More care needs to be taken with this respect. Thinking back I wish I had been more aware of and vigilant of the pain meds being administered to my husband. At the time I was only concerned that he not be in pain, but do wish now that he could have been more coherent towards the end.
Take care Kevin.
Hugs,
DarladarlaSpectatorWonderful news. Fingers crossed all goes well. Looking forward to hearing it’s a go!
darlaSpectatorCait,
I too somehow missed these posts and want to welcome you to our family. You have already seen how helpful and caring this group is. You seem to be doing everything you can to fight this and your age and great attitude is on your side, too. So glad that you found us although I would rather you didn’t have a need to. Looking forward to updates on how things are going.
Also happy to hear from you Susie and that you are doing so well. Always good to hear these success stories.
Everyone take care.
Love & Hugs,
