Karen, God be with you in these tough times. Your Mom has fought a good fight. Be proud of her. Perhaps she is struggling so valiantly for you…she doesn’t want you to be left alone, or to suffer more hurt. Mothers are like that- yeah, they are! Reassuring Mom that she raised a strong independent soul such as yourself may be good for both of you. You both can and will make it through. Sandy

Lindi Cream is a wonderful product, too. Gentle, yet clears the skin well.

rank; as a professional caregiver i’ve experienced the end of life with many a soul. You are wise to keep him alert; but use caution when deciding about painkillers. i have seen patients given far too little per family instruction. Please do not let your loved one suffer for the sake of a last goodbye . A peaceful passing restores the souls of all. God bless you as you travel this rocky road…this, too, shall pass.

Greetings, guys! Clinical trial for Dan is at OSU, with Dr. Saab as well. Blood tests are done bi- weekly; and the first cat scan since Dan’s start of AZD6244 is scheduled in 3 weeks. The diarrhea has lessened with regular use of immodium, and anti nausea meds let him keep the AZD6244 down. His biggest complaint is cotton mouth. Hard candies and sips of liquids are helpful. Dan’s appetite is good. All seems well. We must “Hurry Up and Wait!” just like all of you. God grant us patience and bless us all. Sandy
