Boy, I remember those days as if it were yesterday and now mytwo daughters are 40 and 38 and son 34. Taking the first one was desvastating, but with each one it got a little easier. One daughter is hospice nurse, one is a marketing director and my son is in HVAC. I’m proud of all three of them. My next goal is to watch my oldest granddaughter graduate from college (she’s ten)
ElizabethI am on Gem/Cis also. Had my tumor removed from liver (1/2 liver) in July 09 started chemo on Aug 18, 09 and second one on 25th. Now this week along with the blood test I have a drs visit. And then off a week and start all over again for two more series. I was a little weak last week, but so far this week I’m not quite as weak. This time next year I’m throwing myself a big birthday party and celebrate my 64 on the 30th.
Thank you all for your greetings. Just knowing there are people out there going through what I’m going throught is warming to my heart and inpirational. I found this site so early because my angel daughters researched and found it. They are not only angels, but my little pit bull. They’ve seen this ordeal with me all the way since May20. Along with my dear husband. Yesterday was my secon chemo and I’m still kicking. Me the Lord and my doctors are going to get me through this and soon I’ll be writing 2-1/2 years later giving advice.
