Dear Isselure, This is vrey hard, but know that there are a lot of people here to help and listen! My husband never got used to the pain meds and never really was coherent the last days. Really only spoke because his mouth was so dry and he wanted liquid. My thoughts and prayers are with you all!
It is horrible to hear “No hope!” That is what they told me with my husband, and it was like the breath was taken from my chest. But, he went so quickly that we didn’t have time to get any other doctors involved! I have learned more from this website than any of his doctors. Definitely get her seen somewhere else and do’t give up until you are comfortable with the information! Prayers are with you!
Melanie, i am new to this site, but am so movedby yourpostngs. it is as if you were reading my mind. My husband also passed very suddenly three weeks ago and I have been in a fog! Can’t remember what I did yesterday. I amjust glad that I have our children to keep him alive. I am praying for you.
You are a very strong couple! I had never even heard of this cancer. Pretty nieve. My husband just died from it 2 weeks ago. Went to the hospital March 14th with a stomach ache and shortness of breath. Only to discover this nasty disease. He was bleeding into his stomach. There was nothing left to do but make him comfortable and be there for him. He passed on the 20th. I am baffled as to how he showed no symptoms or if he did the incredible amount of strength he had to not show it. Best of wishes and LOTAS of prayers for you and your huband. So glad I found this site!
