I had a resection in 2010 and again in 2011. I still experience some pain and tightness. My doctor said it is probably scar tissue and nerve damage from surgery.
LisalisacraineSpectatorPorter, praying this is nothing!

Love your new name and he show! Every cancer patient needs an advocate and it sounds like your Mom has a good one. Hope they are giving her something for her swollen legs, it is so uncomfortable.

LisalisacraineSpectatorPorter,
Please call me if you want to talk. I think Duke has outlined a great plan. I know when I had new tumors after liver resections we used SBRT successfully, maybe ask about this type of radiation.

Congrats on marriage and twins, I bet your household is busy! You have a great attitude and I will be praying you can have a resection. I was diagnosed stage IV in 2010 and have had two resections. Sending hugs to Canada.
LisalisacraineSpectatorSammi,
I agree with your daughter, celebrate early . The experts on this board are right, we don’t have an expiration date so live and love. I will be praying for your Dad and family.

What about SBRT? my team has successfully killed four tumors with this type of radiation. Have you read about Melinda Bachinnis clinical trial at NIH, she is doing really well. Sending hugs and prayers.
