thank you Lainy,yes he sat out there only a few times tho,im waiting on hospice,george told them in the hospital he did not want a bed,only his bed.hes in quite a bit of pain now,i just gave him his meds.i believe his sister and brother in law will help me with him this afternoon..
good evening everyone,George and i just got home about an hour ago,hes much calmer here and not all hyper like he was in the hospital,which makes me more calm..thank you lainy for letting everyone know that i was ok.love you all for being here and helping me through this…hugs and blessings everyone …Love Lynn
Thank you Lainy for posting for me,and big thanks to all who responded.we are back at hospital,waiting on his pain meds.pharmicist just left,Dr ordered a patch,but with the weight he lost he has no fat any where,so now they are working on something else that will last longer and something for breakthrough.he sleeping now,he handled radiation well,but now he’s real cold.he has to go to radiation everyday for ten days,once surgeon will come in later to talk to us,and this will be the first place I come to.oh and lainy,thank thank you for talking to me on the phone,you are a true angel.love to all. the latest on george is in the morning they are going to fix the fracture somehow,they told me but im foggy,george isnt doing good at all,sometimes hes really confused,then he snaps out of it,he told me,look,they put gizmo in the box over there,then he was talking to our other dog jake,picking at things,he was doing something with his fingers and i asked him what he was doing,he said trying to untangle this,there was nothing there,i am so scared,he is not my george,he stares at the ceiling,for awhile then hes george again,i told nurse,in tears,what was going on,she asked him questions,then told me he was confused at times,whats happening to my husband?please..someone tell me this is a bad bad dream,i just want to wake up
How much more can he take? The results are back,but he’s not,all they told me was he has a fracture in back,waiting on Dr to come in to explain more…
Thanks everybody,yes they now about the stent’they are doing the MRI on his spine [lower) where all the pain is last week cat scan showed something on his spine.I’m being as strong as I can given the situation,its hard keeping it together.thank you all for the hugs and prayers and support,will let all know when I find out more,love you all lynn
Here we are in critical care part of the er’george is resting,me,I’m climbing the walls,onc Dr wanted to admit him on Monday,but George,being stubborn,took the pain as long as he could,talked to once nurse a few minutes ago,she said they will admit him,I was wondering,can he have a MRI with this metal stent?
hi everybody,went to cancer center this morning,george has a muscle spasm in
his back,dr is fixing him up and if not better by monday,we need to go back,liver biopsy is now for the 11th if pain is gone,there is a tumur on his spine Dr showed me,we are still trying to get medicare to approve his bone scan,they denied the first request,Dr said with this new scan done yesterday,and new findings,hopefully they will approve this one…..Love and hugs to all..lynnabout a days drive in alabama…hugs and thank you from the bottom of my heart for the advise on this,you are truly a blessing…love you all.
oh Lainy,as i type this with tears,george is talking to his Daughter on the phone right now for the first time in 20 + yrs..
Thank you,we are home now,they gave him percoset and muscle relaxer,he seems comfortable,his Dr at cancer wants to see him in his office in the morning,they didn’t say why.they took exray in er,but nothing was there,er Dr said they are not going to do CT scan because they did one this morning,I assume cancer Dr wants to discuss what’s there,long night ahead.oh,and lainy,Georges daughter was so very happy I found her,she responded a few hrs after I sent her a message,she friend requested George and I on Facebook.love hugs and blessings to all’lynn
