My husband was diagnosed with cc and then when they attempted the whipple procedure they found another tumor on the pancreas that didn’t show up in any of the tests. He has 3 people on his mothers side that died of pancreatic cancer. His doctor has said that it’s probably genetic for my husband. It’s definitely a subject that should be researched and talked about.

My husband was diagnosed in August. In September they attempted the whipple procedure but was unsuccessful because they found another tumor on the pancreas and it wasn’t contained. He starts radiation and chemo a week from Monday. He’s devestated, of course so is our family. We have 2 grown children and 2 grandchildren who we’re very close to and we all can’t imagine life without him. His doctor hasn’t really told us a time frame but did say that he has one patient that is cancer free after having the same treatment that my husband is going to have. We are people of faith and believe that God has a plan, we just would like the plan to be healing. Thanks for letting me share. I have found this site to be very helpful.
