But 9 days ago, i was where you are, i feel your pain and i share your journey. These days are so precious, my dad believed he would be healed to the end but was very ready to go, this gave us a sense of peace. the death rattle is so unsettling, we lost soon dad after, you dad is a fighter and though we thought that my dad would be released on 2 occasions before his death in that same week, he went on his terms when he was ready, quietly on his own, mum had left the room for 5 minutes!
We also, took our time when it came to letting go of his body, we did it when we were ready, some 4 or 5 hours later…..
I wish you strength and am with you in thought and prayer.

My dad fought for 19 months, your dad sounds strong, cause usually the high bili takes away energy and appetite, just remain positive, i have discovered that there simply is no classic CC patient, everyone is different, my dad eventually did not die of the BILE DUCT CA, but a spread to the duodenum. Dad kept the CC at bay for from March 09 to July10, and then only it spread, i believe that besides stenting, his diet, which was lots of raw veggie juices and no red meat, no sugar, and an oxcygen supplement had a lot to do with it. Take heart and never give up….
I know how hard this is, we are all here for you.We will get through this together.

Thank you all so much for your condolences, we appreciate it. We are strong as we know that Daddy has gone to a better place, and we made the most of the time that we were given. The requiem mass takes place tomorrow, i am delivering the eulogy…..it is going to be tough! But i need to do this for dad. Thank you all once again.

Teddy is a fighter, this time is so special and so precious, and i believe it is there for a reason, as long as Teddy is happy and peaceful and in no pain or discomfort, ….i am thinking of you daily and sending you lots of hugs and love. Strength my lovely Lainy.

I am so sorry, your dad has passed, my heart and prayers are with you, my dad is days away from passing, i too am 40 with a 7 and 3 year old boys, i feel your pain, with love and strength

Thank you, i remember your mom’s passing like it was yesterday, as it came round about the time my dad was diagnosed when your mom passed, i often refer back to your posts at that time – thank you for this gift. I will maintain some board silence for now, but will let everyone know when the time has come. I have just come into to sort out some work, i am a teacher and then back to my family

Thanks for the support as well,Lainy ,yes,our roads are merging, i too pray that dad slips away quietly and peacefully, you, ted, kimmie and pam are in my thoughts and prayers, our priest will come today, have also asked the gp for something for my mom, she shakes alot and is not sleeping or eating much
