    To all of you,

You give me such hope. Listening to you answer to me has given me some renewed strength.

Being an athlete all of my life and still an active person at the gym and playing softball, I just know that there is good news coming somewhere. I will let you all know my news of the biopsy when I get those results. Until then, I love you all for your kindness and support.

So, you are saying that they could resect if this is something new on the liver?? It is very small, but again, the biospsy is Monday. We will know more then. thank you, thank you for your information.

Is this gentleman in Leeds still practicing??

Thank you Katie for your message.

I have made it through a very tough surgery, but I am very healthy and active and am back at the gym and am so full of life.

I am being treated at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington DC. My surgeon was able to resect a 16 cm tumor and left a 1 cm negative margin and I felt wonderful. We go back for this biospsy and pray that it is something on the scan that is nothing.

I am very hopeful that the next steps are successful ones for me. Please lift my name in prayer.

It’s great to hear good news. I was diagnosed on April 16, 2010 and had successful resection surgery of the liver (about 80%) of the liver. It is all back now and have been on Gemsar for the past 3 months. Just had my first CT scan and it seems something has shown up on the scan. It looks like a lima bean size spot, and we are having it biopsied on monday. They are going to change my chemo treatment starting on wednesday of next week to Oxaliplatin and Xelodin??

Can anyone tell me if this is a hopeful way of clearing these spots?? I am way too young for this to be happening. I turn 46 on October 5 and I am praying that God will intervene and get me and my family through this whole ordeal. I am a very healthy young man and my blood work is phenomenal. I hope someone out there can reassure me.

Thanks everyone, I am new to this site, but I just had to give it a try.

    Matt
