Nov 17 2004 (1 month after my wedding) at 29 years of age I had a Klaskins tumor removed along with 75% of my liver, bile duct, galbladder and a bowel reconstruction. I did not receive any chemo or radation afterwards and now it is almost two years post op & I am doing super My liver functions are almost perfect (they tell me that they will always be a little higher) my thyroid levels are perfect (I have hypothyoridism) & I feel better now than I have in 6 or 7 years. The only thing that was a negative about my surgery is that I have a hernia on my right side about the size of a honeydew. Any comments about thyroid connection to cancer ???
