    Lainy,
Thanks for the sweet welcome. Yes I do have to learn a lot more about CC . I finish chemo next week and then have my first past surgery/chemo scans on the 28th. At that point, I will see where the journey wants to take me next and whee I am filling to follow.

    Debbie,
This indeed feels like a welcoming family. I am feeling well despite chemo and able to frequently play outdoors as well as working out at the gym. Yes I was pleased about the results of and rapid recovery from the resection.

    Marion,
Thanks for the warm welcome. I’ve been happily back out skiing and hiking for the past week and know I can get through one more week of chemo. My first scans are scheduled for the 28th and I’m very curious about the efficacy of the chemo.

Thanks for your reply. My gratefully short lived most frustrating side effects were the low neutrophils and anemia so I suddenly felt the infamous fatigue. Within a week , I had enough energy back to be out xc skiing and hiking again. They cut the gemzar back 25% for one week. Next week is my very last, but I expect the same will happen again. This close to the end I know I will survive!
