PCL1029 – I guess I’m not willing to experiment that much with this. I’m not going to gamble with his life to prove what is the magical silver bullet in this formula and many of the research articles and trails I’m come across have suggested that the combination of chemo and DCA is the most favorable so we’ll just keep on doing it. I do know that the five year survival for nonresectable CC is 0% so I would guess that we will know in 5 years if it was the addition of the DCA that helped him along since he would be a medical miracle at that point right?

lbutiong – We got the DCA from http://www.pharma-dca.com/usa/index.html but again, I’m not recommending anyone try what we did but this is the site Bill recommended since we asked him.

Before that I also called around in Canada to find pharmacy grade DCA because I too was concerned about getting pure DCA. I found a compound pharmacist in Canada (these are the only guys who order this type of stuff) who could sell me 1 kg for 1500 from a pharmacy supply company, we didn’t need that much so declined.

http://www.medisca.com/en-ca/home.aspx is the pharmacitical supply company that they have to get it from, but is only available in Canada (really, checkout the US site and the Canada site, the DCA or sodium dichloroacetate is only available for order on the Canadian one) I only knew this from researching where this stuff comes from. You have to go through a pharmacist to order it, but you also have to find one with an account to medisca to order it from them.
