    Teresa –

I followed Shirley’s story on your blog and could feel the love you had for each other in the words that you wrote. I know you miss her with every ounce of your being. I don’t believe any sister could have done more than you did to help her.

Also, I want you to know how much your blog meant to me as I, too have a sister with cholangiocarcinoma – she is 43.

I am thinking of you and your family at this very hard time in your life.

    Kris –

as you know, fall is always beautiful in the upstate of South Carolina and I’m sure this one will be no exception (other than the fact we’ve not had much rain so it may somewhat affect the changing of the leaves). If you do get to come to SC for a long vacation I hope you enjoy every minute of it – there’s nothing like being with family.

did I read somewhere in the posts that you once lived in South Carolina, possibly Greenwood? I was just curious, as I live in South Carolina and it’s always nice to talk toomeone familiar with this area. I don’t have cc but my sister does – she is in the Atlanta area and started chemotherapy yesterday.

Thanks, Patty – I have been reading posts on the website now for a few weeks, and had already gotten a lot of information prior to knowing that Suzanne’s resection results weren’t what we’d hoped, never dreaming we’d really have to use it! We were just so hopeful that the resection would be successful. Now that we are getting ready to try something else, I feel sure this website will be the source of a lot of knowledge and support.
