Thank you for all the heartfelt words. It means so much to me during this very difficult time.

I really appreciate the responses. She was diagnosed May first. She has been having pain on her right side. They confirmed lesions on her liver. Stage 4 Bile Duct Cancer, They also found a few small spots on her lungs…She started chemo shortly after. She has been doing good with the chemo. Nausea and fatigue but overall, she is a trooper. It’s been rough hearing such a grim diagnosis. I still remember the DR’s facial expression as I sat there and heard “Less than year”. I said to myself how can this be. She is 58 years old. This has to be wrong. My heart was and is still broken. We are just trying to make the best of each day and enjoy what we have. Right now she is feeling OK and doing well so I will take it. I feel like our roles have been reversed. I feel like the mother who is a frantic mess day in and out making sure she is OK, along with raising my boy, taking care of a household and working FT. I wouldn’t change a thing but some days I just want to cry. Thank you you again for the responses. It means so much.
