    Hi folks
    Dennis is nonresponsive but I still talk to him. His nurse tech Chaplin and social worker are God sends. He seems to be in no pain which I am grateful for
    It was intense for him. It’s been emotional for the children and I
    We have been married 24 years and three children-Lauren 24-Dennis. Kyle. 19 and Trevor 10. God bless you-all!! If it weren’t for this site I would of not had the knowledge to be able to see what was going on and get him help when needed. Thank you so much!

    Thanks youre so kind…hes home tonite and resting. I got sad today cause I cant converse with him. The pain meds are probably the reason. I feel like Im slowly losing him. I would like to talk to him again. I made him smile though. A nurse I think will be here tomorrow. Hospice has been very good so far. Paitient and compassionate!

    Talked to the oncologist. He’s still constipated even though he had three Colace pills an enema and a powdered drink laxative. They gonna try Reglan and hoping that helps. They may get a gastronologist to check on his condition. I’m also notice his swallowing is a little difficult when he takes his meds. He coughs like he’s trying to choke. He’s sleeping more. Doses off unexpectedly. What should I expect next? Can anyone relate? Everyone s differentwith this. I know there’s a time where God’s gonna take him. This is a monster!! I hate this..I absolutely hate this!!!

    I totally get where you’re coming from. That kinda news just jolts you. I remember driving home in tears. Tears are good. My husband is quite depressed. I try to have friends and family over to keep his spirits up. You’re a great caregiver to mom. I will say a prayer.Hang in there and talk to you’re friends too. They’ll bee there for you!!

    Thanks Lainy,Kris and Gavin. It does help emotionally. I can’t imagine just sitting around just waiting. That’s just not acceptable to Dennis. Gotta love his stubborn personality. That’s.one of his best traits. Lol!! Gods still has us to lean on each other. Very grateful! ! Hang in there! !! Muaah! !

    I would get him to the er. Dehydration is nothing to play with. I sure hope he gets better soon.

    My thoughts and prayers go you and Lauren. I have a Lauren too. She’s 24. I had to chime in because getting news that overwhelms you is tough. Please hang in there.
