    Lainy,
Walt Disney World. We love to vacation there. It is very HC friendly. I have severe arthritis and minor heart problems plus I am deaf in one ear. I use an ecv. Ron is also has Celiac disease and must stick to a very strict diet. WDW is a wonderful place for us.

    Lainy,
our oncologist is the tops here in Atlanta. The surgeon at Emory was very pleased we chose her. She was also my oncologist when I had chemo 2’years ago for colon cancer.
My primary care dr,has prescribed meds for me and they are taking effect. I seem to be more grounded now.
We plan on taking a trip to our home state to visit family. I hope this brightened spirits before we begin the next round of chemo.
After that round, we hope to take a trip to WDW to celebrate our anniversary. We love it there.

    Martha

Thanks so much for all the kind words. I am devastated. I try to be strong but some days I just want to stay in bed and cry.
My husband is 63 years old. We have been married 40 years this May 26th. His cancer has spread from his biliary duct into his liver. He is being treated at Atlanta Cancer Care and has had 2 chemo treatments. He gets this week off. He hasn’t had any bad side effects so far, for which we are thankful.
Right now we are just trying to maintain a sense of normalcy but are also making plans as to where we need to be short term.
