Elizabeth has been practising as a clinical Dietitian in the NHS since qualifying in 2009 from Leeds Metropolitan University in a Post Graduate Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics. She began her career as a graduate Dietitian at the Royal Brompton Hospital in London, where she worked in cardiothoracic surgery and paediatric Cystic Fibrosis. She later moved to the Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust in Birmingham, UK where she worked as a nutrition support Dietitian, covering critical care, gastro-surgery and oncology.
She currently works at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust as a Specialist Pancreatic Dietitian. Her current role involves providing nutritional advice to patients that have pancreato-biliary cancers and/or have undergone pancreatic surgery or have pancreatitis. She is an active member of the Nutrition Interest Group of the Pancreatic Society of Great Britain and Ireland as well as a member of the Nursing Advisory Board of the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation.
