Larry Jacobs
On September 19, 2020, Larry Jacobs, our beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend lost his courageous three year battle with Cholangiocarcinoma (bile duct cancer).
He is survived by his wife Trish, daughters Lindsay and Greer, his mother Lois, sisters Sheryl and Deanne, and many family members and friends.
Larry was born in Claremont, CA. When he was eight years old, his family moved to Corona Del Mar where Larry fell in love with the ocean, swimming, and water polo. He attended UCLA where he played on the water polo team and graduated with a degree in economics.
Larry then began a lifelong career as a successful businessman, as owner and founder of Quality Transportation Services. He married his wife Trish in 1992 and they raised their two athletic, intelligent and loving daughters in Emerald Bay, CA.
Larry had a heart of gold and was always the life of the party. He worked hard and was always kind to everyone.
To honor his life and memory, the family has begun a campaign to raise funds for the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation, so that further research can be done to study and combat this disease.
