Kathi Wagner Appointed as Director of Development
The Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of Kathi Wagner as Director of Development. Ms. Wagner, of Darien, IL, brings to the role more than 25 years of fundraising, marketing, public affairs, and nonprofit management experience.
“CCF is extremely pleased to welcome Kathi Wagner as our new Director of Development,” said Board President, Stacie Lindsey. “Kathi brings the skills, knowledge, experience and passion that will continue to advance our mission of finding a cure for this disease.”
Ms. Wagner’s work will include supporting volunteer-driven events and grassroots fundraising efforts nationally, peer-to-peer social media marketing, major-donor and planned-giving programs, direct-mail outreach and stewardship activities, as well as database and policy development.
Previously, she served as Chief Development Director for Wake Up Narcolepsy, Director of Fundraising and Development for the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County, Executive Director of the Illinois Branch of the International Dyslexia Association, and Director of Development for the American Brain Tumor Association.
Ms. Wagner obtained her Certified Fund Raising Executive Status in 1998, and has served as a past board member for the Association of Fundraising Professionals Chicago Chapter, the West Suburban Philanthropic Network, and the Suburban Chicago Planned Giving Council.
