Peggy Newland

On September 22, 2021, a cherished daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother, lost a courageous battle with cancer ( a rare bile duct cancer called intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma). Peggy was a loving daughter to Lee Roy and Ulean Heatherly, wonderful mother to Tonya Middleton, Cassandra McAfee, son-in-law Justin Mcafee, Jamie Newland, and Chasity Newland, amazing grandmother to Jonathan Middleton, Alexis Reyer, Joshua Middleton, Jontain Aviles, and River Mcafee, and a fabulous sister, aunt, and friend.

In celebration of her life and to honor her memory, we are initiating a fund-raising campaign for the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation. Peggy was a fun-loving and outspoken person who never met a stranger and never turned away someone in need. She loved spending time with her family and was always the life of the party. She shined bright and lit up every room she walked into.
