Richard Opalinsky

My husband Richard Opalinsky, best friend and high school sweetheart was recently diagnosed with intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma April 15, 2020.  His journey was short-lived, he passed June 3, 2020.  This rare aggressive bile duct cancer metastasized to an inoperable state.  Richard’s family was devastated to learn of no cures nor that there was very little scientific research on this rare cancer. He will be greatly missed by his wife, children, grandchildren, family, friends and colleagues.  He retired December 2019 with plans to enjoy his woodworking, help his children remodel their homes and travel with his loving wife.  He was an outstanding Architect and his legacy will remain forever.  In celebration of his life and honor his memory, The Opalinsky family would appreciate your consideration of a monetary donation to this outstanding Foundation honoring Richard’s memory by accelerating the research for this devastating disease.
