Sally Hoey
On January 3, 2021, a “force of nature” Sally, lost her brief but valiant battle with cancer (a rare bile duct cancer called extrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma). Sally was a loving wife to Ted for 54 years, a wonderful mother to daughter Julie (Bill) Miller, and two sons Doug (Laura) and Jay (Alicia) and “daughters at heart” Marianne (Serge) Benoit and Isabel Sapriza. The loves of her life were her beloved grandchildren: Liam, Delaney, Will, Molly, Gavin, Alison, Zach, Faye, Reece, Josie, and William. Sally enjoyed showering her love generously on her many friends and family in the form of delicious dinners and fun gatherings. She was known to all as a fun-loving, party-planning, adventure-seeking, card-playing, appetizer-making, G&T drinking force of nature!
In celebration of her life and to honor her memory, we are supporting the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation to help fund research for this aggressive cancer. Thank you for considering a donation to the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation honoring Sally’s memory, so that they can continue the vital work necessary to ultimately win the war against this disease.
