According to Nasra from Mayo Clinic, this is an extension of the earlier information gathering by Dr. Lewis Roberts. For those who already filled that form out, there is nothing to do.

Thanks for that Marion. I put that over on the FB page as well so everyone over there could hear your thoughts as well.

    Hugs,

    Gavin

You have seen the banner across this site. Nearly 300 people already responded to this call so far, but ultimately the study is looking for 10 thousand participants.

PEOPLE WITH OR WITHOUT THE DISEASE ARE ASKED TO PARTICIPATE

Scientists will compare the DNA from small samples of blood from 2 groups:
    1. Those identified with Cholangiocarcinoma
    2. Those that don’t have the disease

With your help scientists may have the ability to identify important genetic risk factors for cholangiocarcinoma

What you are asked to do:
Donate a small sample of blood and complete a medical history questionnaire.

please use this link for further information:

    Please join in.

    Thanks for considering,
    Marion
