Hi Everyone
Have been away for a while although i have been following the boards. My dad is back for a replacement of a metal stent. He is 72 and passed his 8 month prognosis with no interventions except replacement of stents throughout last year.
He was admitted because of an infection and very high temps. He is in ICU at UCT Private Academic Hospital in Cape Town, South Africa. I read his file last night, have not been able to speak to his doctor yet. When the replaced stent they found “white bile”.
What is this and does anyone know what this indicates. Have googled but does not sound good at all. Can anyone help me please, i beginning to become a little anxious about the implications of this?
Please help
Michelle
