Porter, I also see it as good news. I mean let’s be honest here, who really wants surgery but we also know it is the best that can happen. I have never heard of the kind of intestine problem. Holy cow. Well at least you are getting all cleaned up and hopefully that will relieve the pain. Best of luck and I will have everything I possess all crossed for good luck and will be with you in spirit on Wednesday!

Hi everybody. This is my first public post about my latest news and I thought I’d share her first as I have not decided how I’m gonna say this on my Facebook. Had a follow up scan yesterday. Met with the oncologist today. She walks in and says…”well I don’t this the scan is necessarily bad..” And immediately right there just start crying. So the same spot that has showed up on pretty much very post op scan is still there (was hoping it magically disappeared) and continues to slightly grow each time by like 1 mm or so. And each time they say its more conspicuous than the last. Its about 1.2 cm and in the corner of my left lobe. All of my cancer last time was in right. They still are not quite certain what it is but the time has come for that little sucker to come out. My surgeon is out of the country but was informed by her coordinator today of my latest report. Next thing I know I am being scheduled for a pre op visit on Tuesday and surgery on Wednesday of next week. So another resection is tenatively in place. I have also been having a lot of pain and was told the radiologist said and I don’t recall the medical term, my intestines are engulfing one another and this is most likely due to scar tissue and from my last surgery. Has anyone ever heard of this? But this is the explanation for the pain so the plan is to clean that up as well while they are in there. So as of now this is the plan. I consider it good news for a crappy situation.
