    Hi Fay,

    I was in touch with Donna re next years ASCO meeting in January in San Francisco and she says that this year again we will be having the booth at the meeting as we have done for a few years now. Donna also says that should you wish to help out there in volunteering and in the booth etc then you would be most welcome. Marion also let me know that the San Fran meeting is indeed smaller than the one in Chicago but it is very focused indeed on GI cancers with a lot of CC physicians etc in attendance there. Let me know if you have any thoughts about this one.

    Hi Fay,

    Melinda says that she will be in touch with you long before the ASCO meeting in Chicago next year to discuss stuff with you about it etc. I sent this thread to her and no doubt she will most probably email you directly. So hopefully you will be meeting up with everyone there!!

    Thank you Gavin. Yes the one next May/June. Though I did see one in San Franscisco this January but focus seems to be more gastric and esophageal cancers versus cholangiocarcinoma. Thank you for emailing Donna for me. I don’t check my messages here very often since my mom has progressed to stage 4 and  is currently on her first cycle of gem/cis. But I have every intention of going to ASCO in Chicago unless my mother needs me more at that time.

    Hi Fay,

    I assume that you mean the Annual Meeting in Chicago next end of May or start of June? If so then I am pretty certain that there will be quite a few there as the Foundation have had a booth there in the advocates hall each year for the last few years. And as the last few years have rolled by, the booth has gotten bigger and bigger and in a more prominent location too!!

    So yes, I guess there will be a few there again next year but I don’t have any more details as of yet. Hopefully members who will be there next year will be able to post something to you on this thread soon. And my thanks to you if you are planning on going next year as well, great stuff!!

    Dear CC family,

    Is anyone going to ASCO 2018 and also paying out of pocket? I ask because I will be and wondering if anyone (female) is looking for a roommate to split the hotel bill with?;)
