Thanks, Sara. I didn’t realize the implications. Although I am not selling the shirts for a profit, I was just trying to make them available if anyone wanted one. The ones being used in the cancer walk are being purchased by me personally for my team, in an effort to honor my son. Please let me know if this is o.k. – Nancy
April 21, 2011 at 3:30 am #49359saraMemberTo all our friends on this site – The Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation has expended a great amount of effort and publicly donated resources into developing the services and goodwill associated with “The Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation” and logo.
We love to hear of these local efforts in raising awareness and money for the disease. We need to remind everyone that use of “The Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation” and/or our logo requires permission as these are both trade name and registered marks owned by the Foundation. We have worked closely with groups who wish to use the logo in their fundraising efforts, and we believe it’s a fairly simple process to gain permission and limitations on use of the mark. We do not wish to create any difficulty to our community, however we must protect this property that is so core to all our efforts.
If you wish to discuss further, please do not hesitate to contact us at info@cholangiocarcinoma.org.

April 12, 2011 at 11:47 pm #4976nur1954SpectatorHI all – I have joined the American Cancer Society’s DetermiNATION 2011 George Washington Bridge Challenge (a walk/run/bike for cancer awareness). I have a team in memory of my son (“Team John Ur”). My niece is in the t-shirt business and has designed a t-shirt with the cholangio-carcinoma tree on the front left and Team John Ur on the back. However, she has indicated that she could also prints shirts with just the CC insignia on the front. I am ordering regular men’s t-shirts as well as women’s v-neck t-shirts. They are white with the brown and green insignia. If anyone might be interested, I could order one for you. The total cost (with shipping) should only be about $10, since my niece is giving me a nice break on the normal price. I would be glad to try and share the art work via email if you are interested in seeing it before ordering. In any event, if you think you might want one, please email me at : nur1954@gmail.com and I’ll provide more details. Just thought I would share with anyone who might want to have a shirt. Thanks – Nancy
