Benadryl taken after Gemzar

    After a Gemzar treatment, the next day I am really flushed. I found out that if I take one or two Benadryl tablets, it reduces the flushing. The side affect of Benadryl is that it makes me sleepy, so I take it before going to bed.

    Nothing seems to help the metallic aftertaste, though. Bleech.
