Hello bendelgril… Sure wish we did not have to meet under these circumstances and as Peter had said: Welcome to the club no one wants to belong to. And I add: but are glad to have found.
While perusing our Alternative section, I found only one post referring to bloodroot. It had been posted by Ted: http://www.cholangiocarcinoma.org/punbb/viewtopic.php?pid=29953

The following links refer to the Budwig Cancer Protocol,
    http://www.cholangiocarcinoma.org/punbb/viewtopic.php?id=1446 and
    http://www.cholangiocarcinoma.org/punbb/viewtopic.php?pid=7368
I wish much luck and success and please, keep us posted. I am wondering, how did the discussion end with the physicians at MD Anderson? Is your Dad being observed or, is another treatment contemplated?
    Best wishes,
    Marion

I have been on bloodroot extract for over a year. I have not heard of pill form, I get it from a local herbalist and it is a liquid. I also tried a more concentrated paste but was unable to tolerate it. Feel free to contact me if I can be of any help. God Bless,
    Jamie

My father has recently been diagnosised with CC. He has recently been discharged from MD Anderson. At this time they are not sure if surgery to remove the tumor is an option. We go back in a month. In the meantime, we are interested in alternative therapy. Is anyone familair with the Budwig Cancer Protocol. The one of the herbs they are recommending is bloodroot. I cannot find alot of info of people taking the pill.
    Thanks,
