Thank you Lainy. Memories are definitely what we have to hold on to. The day my parents moved in we sat in the middle of the living room floor and ate Popeyes’ fried chicken! The new owner said she was going to eat pizza on the floor with her family. We are blessed and today was a great day. Thank you for caring about the people on this site. You are truly special!
Pam, beside closures of all kinds the best part is nothing can close the Memories you have of your parents. My best to you with hugs.
It’s almost been a year since my dad passed away from cc and 3 years since my mom’s passing. Today was a bittersweet day as we closed on my parents’ home and it is now someone else’s house. The new owner loves it and I know she will take good care of it. Her favorite is a side garden my mom so wanted and my dad made for her. I know my mom interviewed these potential buyers from heaven and picked the right one. It’s a quiet night for me as this closes another part of this journey.
