Dear Teresa, I am so very sorry to read about your wonderful Dad and I do know that his unique spirit will always be around you! He is resting easy now and you can rest in the fact that he loved you so very much and was so proud of you.
Do not stand at my grave and weep;
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn’s rain,
When you awaken in the morning’s hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die. By Mary Elizabeth Frye
For everything beautiful that you see
will bring a memory of me.
I am so every sad to read this post. I am thankful to hear that your dad wasn’t in pain. I hope he was at peace gives you some comfort during this time. I know you did all possible to support him through this journey.
