I wondered the same thing. Saw he had liver cancer and immediate thought “was it CC?”

I’ve done quite a bit of reading and searching on this Pat when this news came out and I couldn’t find anything that said he died of CC. All I could find was pieces that said it was liver cancer and nothing more specific than that. There were tons of pieces on Bowie’s death here in the UK and no doubt worldwide but all of them just said cancer or liver cancer. If I find anything more than that I will post it here.

    All the best Pat,

    Gavin

Oh my goodness, Pat. I know many celebs pass from cancer and they rarely say what kind. Somehow I missed the liver cancer of David Bowie. Sad, but I can tell you my husband, Teddy loved music and I am sure he is trilled to meet all the arrivals from cancer. Not sure that you are in to Jazz but T and his Bro had a bar for a few years near downtown Milwaukee and he happened to help Al Jarreau get his start when Al was 19. Helped him with college too, Al is a very bright man. T had high regard and respect for many entertainers, who by chance used to eat at his mom’s when they visited town.
I always feel that we could be good help to celebrities who get the draw of CC if they only knew about us. Be that as it may, a little Ziggy stardust never hurt any of us so please sprinkle some down here.

A recent Time magazine article on the life of David Bowie mentions that he died of liver cancer. I wonder if he is another celebrity taken by cholangiocarcinoma ? Many news reports have mentioned he was taken by cancer, most don’t mention what type. May god bless Ziggy stardust, Pat
