    Hi January, we call that scanxiety and everyone gets it before a scan. Perhaps do something like going to lunch or a movie. Sending you best wishes for a perfect scan! And for passing that news on to us when you get it!

    January….scananxiety appears to accompany us, but with time it lessens a bit. Know that a tidal wave of good wishes are heading your way.

    Dear All,

    Gratefully, today is the one year anniversary of my daughter’s CC diagnosis. She had a liver resection and whipple at 29 years old followed by 4 months of chemo. Her next scan is Monday at Sloan and all prayers are very welcomed. We haven’t learned how to deal with all of the nerves and sleepless nights leading up to the scan- does it ever get easier?
