    Erin,

I am sure they will send you some but if you want to see the brochures you can download them here:

Hello Erin….thank you for your kind offer of helping bring attention to this disease and for donating to The Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation.
Our Dawn handles the fundraiser division of our office and if you do not hear from here please, let me know. As you know all of us are volunteering our time and sometimes we cannot tend to some things as quickly as we would like to.
Brochures definitely will be mailed to anyone requesting such. (The inside joke is that our Stacie loves to spend quality time at the local post office.)
You also are bringing up a good point and that is that The Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation brochures should be displayed in every medical center and oncology office.
We distribute a fair amount of brochures at all medical conferences however; this does not cover the entire medical community. Your (and everyone

Hi, I’m sorry if this isn’t the appropriate forum for this topic.

We have a very large network of family and friends who want to do SOMETHING to help the family. People feel helpless, and of course bringing meals and sending fruit arrangements is only necessary for so long. I’m pretty sure we’ll have hundreds of people come out for it.

My mom and I have started talking about doing a fundraiser to benefit the cholangiocarcinoma foundation. I’ve sent an email to the appropriate people, so now I’ll wait for that info. My dad is a runner and also loves baseball so we’re trying to figure out a way to incorporate those things into a fundraiser. We love to have fun and I want nothing less for a fundraiser.

I’ve seen brochures talked about in old posts and I’d like to order some. Do they still exist? I know when we were sitting in the hospital in the first week after his diagnosis, we went into the resource room and found nothing.

Has anyone done any fundraising for CC? It’s such an ugly thing, and obviously its rarity means it doesn’t get the funding as some other cancers. I want to do what I can–it’s not a lot, but it’s something.

    Erin
