Hi,everyone,
Please be careful when you read articles published originated from Mainland China. I had a very embarrassed moment at 2012 ASCO when a U S A researcher on the podium publicly denounced the result of a Chinese research article. He tried to duplicate a study result from an article published by the Chinese researcher in mainland and found out the result is false and untrue. What I am trying to say is buyer be aware.

They used Gendicine to treat many different types of cancer, including hepatocellular carcinoma (liver cancer). I found no published studies about cholangiocarcinoma.
I took a quick look. My first impressions:
1. Cancer Therapy China is a medical tourism company. They offer a number of cancer treatments that are not available outside of China. They say it right here:

2. Gendicine is a viral gene therapy developed by Chinese company Sibiono:
The company got approval to use this therapy in China in 2003, but only for one type of cancer: head and neck squamous cell carcinoma.

The question I have, is Gendicine approved anywhere in the world outside of China? I could not find any information. I will do more research later. My guess as of right now, Gendicine is only approved in China. Meaning that, you have to travel to China to receive this treatment.

Hi Mark,
I went to the website and a box popped up where you can ask questions. I asked if Gendicine could be used on someone with CC. The person said yes. I also asked if it was used in the US and they said yes. They said it was 86% effective for CC. Then they started in on wanting to know who had CC, how long, etc. and they wanted me to send Lauren’s info. I said I just wanted info on this therapy and that I was happy where she got her care. I asked where they used this in the US but they didn’t give me an answer. I am always skeptical about things that sound too good to be true and I have never read anything about this. Maybe our researchers Eli, Percy, or Gavin can tell us more. It would be nice if their claims were true.
