    Dear Lynn, I’m so sorry. It’s beautiful that you were with him during his struggle and that you were there caring for him. I cherish the time that I had with my husband as he fought cc for two months.

    Thank you for sharing with us the beautiful exchange the two of you experienced with the Fairy on your tshirt. That is a lovely moment to cherish forever and says so much about your beautiful relationship with this wonderful man.
    Love and hugs to you, Margaret

    Dearest Lynn, George’s little Fairy Angel. It is going to take a lot of time, but you are lucky if you just close your eyes you see George. That is beautiful! Thank you for checking in with us.

    Do not stand at my grave and weep;
    I am not there. I do not sleep.
    I am a thousand winds that blow.
    I am the diamond glints on snow.
    I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
    I am the gentle autumn’s rain,
    When you awaken in the morning’s hush,
    I am the swift uplifting rush
    Of quiet birds in circled flight.
    I am the soft stars that shine at night.
    Do not stand at my grave and cry;
    I am not there. I did not die. By Mary Elizabeth Frye

    I held your hand as you took your last breaths with me,i hope i only made you feel comfort & peace in your journey to become my guardian angel. I love you with all my heart George

    George passed away Friday December 14th.He took his last breath at noon..The last 4 monthe since his diagnosis,i would not trade for anything.On thursday,the 13th,i was wearing a tee shirt with a fairy on it,i was standing by his bedside,holding his hand,when sweet george slowely raised his hand and gently brushed the face of the fairy on my shirt with his finger.something i will never ever forget,and i will have that shirt until i die…

    I close my eyes i see you,I open my eyes i miss you……,.

    Oh Lynn, I’m so very sorry to hear about George. I lost my Dan only 2 weeks ago so I know what your going through. You were a wonderful caregiver and did everything you could to make George’s last days good ones.

    I’m hope you find the strength to get through these next several weeks and try to remember George as he was before this cancer took over your lives.

    Lynn, I am so very sorry. Know that you did everything humanly possible for George and that I know he was so proud of how you handled everything and I will always remember that you both reminded me so much of Teddy and me. George fought a good fight and I hope he and Teddy will meet now.

    If I should be the first to go,
    And leave you alone, my Dear,
    Let not your heart be lonely,
    Nor in your eyes a tear.
    Grieve not for me, my Darling,
    I’ll not be far away,
    With petals of love and tenderness,
    I’ll pave for you the way.
    To join me in our sanctuary,
    And ne’er again we’ll part.
    Grieve not for me, my Darling,
    I live within your heart.
    Take joy again in living,
    As you did in years gone by;
    God knows what of he’s doing,
    And not be questioned why.
    Grieve not for me, my Darling,
    My life with you on earth
    Each moment filled with happiness,
    And love so few be worth.
    I’ll be waiting for you Sweetheart
    Where skys are ever blue,
    With eager heart and open arms
    Patiently, for you.
    Grieve not for me, my Darling,
    May faith and my love keep.
    Your soul filled with contentment
    Eternally, I sleep.
