what you mean about relief. And here we were raised to think relief was spelled Alka Seltzer!!!! Forgive me I am on a natural high!I was more nervous than usual before my latest scan– when I landed in the ER with appendicitis in September, they did a CT scan and one of the doctors somewhere along the line told me that my tumors “were bigger” than previously. I didn’t want to hear about it, and I told him, “No they AREN’T!!” (well, I was all doped up)
So, I just got the results of my “real” scan yesterday– no change since May ’09, and that one was unchanged since Sept ’08, so all together– no tumor growth since July ’08, which is 18 months! Yayy! This is one of those days when my whole body feels like it’s made out of blue sky.
Nobody can explain it, but my oncologist was really happy and I am too. I’m wishing good results for all my cc friends out there too!
