Thank u for your wonderful post. May u have many more clean scans. May I ask what type of CC u were diagnosed with. Extrahepatic-intrahepatic-klastkins tumor? Good news from people like u mean so much to everyone on this site.

Hi Bob, thanks for telling us your story my Dad Benjamin got diagnosed this August, and it makes me happy to have heard about your story, when I keep reading statistics on cholangiocarcinoma that just bum me out. My Dad is going through radiation right now.

    Hi Bob!

It’s is refreshing to read your post. I agree with you. You have to keep a good attitude and NOT give up. Even with all that is going on with my husband Tom, his successful resection, a tumor reoccurance, inoperable and with being given 6 months to live, after radiation and oral chemo, now presenting with new tumors and a large mass, ascites – he is still willing to fight and just had a port installed today and begins IV Chemo tomorrow….he’s still trying to KICK that cancer! And tomorrow we start the 11th month of life since his 6 month prognosis! YEAH!

Go with God and KEEP KICKIN’ THAT cancer.

    Hello all
My name is Bob and I was diagnosed with CC about 3 years ago, been on this site, did alot of research, self reffered to MD Anderson and got my third clean scan today.
I had about 65% of my liver taken the first surgery, then another surgery a year later to remove some nodes.
I had lost all hope at one time and since this disease is so unforgiving I wanted to pass on to all you that there is hope.
I’ve prayed, tried to keep a good attitude, got depressed, contimplated “alternatives” and generally gave up.
I’m here today to ask everyone to have hope and believe in yourself, keep the faith and dont’ give up.
    Best wishes to all.
