    Marions,

I definitely plan on keeping the good news coming! Two more weeks til’ our CT scan. I am hoping for GREAT NEWS! Maybe we will be able to proceed with the radiofrequency ablation with just the six weeks of chemo.

    Christina,
There is so much great news in your posting that it is difficult for me although, not impossible, to be worrying with you. Reactions to chemo vary from being horribly ill to feeling o.k. Just happy to know for Chucks to be feeling as well as he is with plenty of good appetite for food. Keep the good news coming this way.

So Chucks is on his fourth week of chemo now and is doing better than he was without it. His bili has dropped, fluid has now begun to come down with the help of lasix. Energy level is great. He is up and about all day until about 9 when he crashes out. The only day he doesn’t feel well is tuesdays and that is when he gets the gemzar. He runs high fevers and is out the whole day but the next day he is out and running around again. Everytime I call him worried about him from work, he is like “your sister and I are at the movies” or “I’m eating at Denny’s” or “I’m over here at a friends house” He is eating at least two meals a day (if not more) without any vomiting (the first two weeks, he threw up at least once a day) He is also taking in one or two protein shakes a day. So I know you are reading this and thinking definitely good news but it is just so strange to me that after 4 weeks of chemo, he seems to be doing pretty good. I would think the more sick you get, the more the chemo is effecting your body ( working). Does this mean chemo is not working? What type of news should we expect? This is really frustrating me and I know i am rambling. Sorry.

    Christina
