Lisa, When you see this, please know I have held you in my thoughts and prayers. Hernia repair can be really a pain in the ….oh…wherever….you know what I mean. My husband had it a number of years ago and he had a rough time through the pain at first. I am praying that your pain is short-lived and you bounce back from the surgery. You are one of my inspirations on this board.

Saw on caringbridge that surgery went well but Lisa is in a lot of pain. Please continue to keep her in your thoughts and prayers for relief and healing.

Hernia surgery tomorrow

Lisa is pleased to be having her two hernias repaired tomorrow at 8:15 am at The Cleveland Clinic by Dr. John Fung and Dr. Charles Winan. This will be the third time her incision has been opened, so she is a little apprehensive. Please keep her in your prayers tomorrow that there are no complications and that the surgery goes as planned and please pray for her surgeons. Lisa has gone 15 months with no new cancer; which is a miracle and a blessing from all of your continued prayers and God’s Divine Intervention. Our whole family is so grateful. I will post an update after surgery, they are estimating 3-4 hours.
