Crissie…had the biopsy come back as adenocarcinoma? If so, then this happens frequently and physicians then will look at the symptoms in order to diagnose this disease. However; adenocarcinoma can affect several organs mainly, colon, but also bile duct, cervix, pancreas, prostate, stomach, thyroid, and breast.
Have the doctors mentioned an obstruction; what type of chemotherapy has been proposed.

Ok so my dad who originally was diagnosed with bile duct cancer is at Mayo…they still haven’t confirmed diagnosis since he is presenting with symptoms that are not “normal”. Is this the way it goes?

They are trying to reduce his liver enzymes to start chemo. They put in a stent (metal) and said that should help.
